Where do you want to go?Bangladesh

To Bangladesh and beyond is not a travel agency; it is a gateway, bridging the gap between you and the local service providers throughout the country. It is a concept, an initiative, infusing the combined resources of Grace Tours, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Interspeed Media, a Dhaka based advertising company.

Via this website you will not only be able to have an overview of available destinations within Bangladesh and different levels of accommodation, (on our website, you can choose from a wide variety of accommodations – homestay hideaways, heritage hotels & palaces, rural farms, beach villas, jungle lodges, spa retreats, and even tree-houses!), but you will also be able to contact locally based hotel owners and tour guides, ask questions, provide answers and buy travel products and services all in one place.

Hotel Holy Side

Hotel Holy Side is located in the corner of the residential neighbourhood of Darga Gate area, just a few minutes from the busy central business district. It is also nearby to the restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. The hotel offers guests easy reach to the rest of Sylhet city as its location helps move around the city avoiding the sudden traffic jam. Moreover, the hotel stands just on the Jaflong Road-the gateway to the usual sightseeing destinations of Jaflong and Madhobkunda.

A moderate distance of 12 KM from the airport and 7 KM from the railway station and other important locations of Sylhet city are conveniently accessible from the hotel and it offers airport or station pickup and drop service to guests for a small fee. Guests can easily get around town on the city’s public transportation system, or they can walk to many of the area’s attractions easily.

This hotel’s rooms are comfortable and clean, and they offer en suite bathrooms with toiletries. All of the rooms have cable televisions and broadband internet service, as well as basic furniture such as coffee tables and desks with comfortable couches and chairs. The hotel is clean, well organized and fitted with all the basic amenities that one might require.  As the room fees are reasonable and inexpensive, from backpackers to working travellers would certainly have a fairly good living experience within budget.

The Hotel Holy Side offers guests the service of a sightseeing tour desk. Guests can enjoy broadband Internet access in all the rooms, and also enjoy meals in the hotel’s on-site restaurant.

Though the hotel significantly lacks in services like a pool or workout area, considering its basic living standards and security, well within affordability, this can be a nice place to spend your night after a busy day of work or sightseeing in Sylhet.  The staff are well behaved and very helpful. If you're planning on staying in Sylhet within shoe-string budget but with some level of cleanliness and comfort, Hotel Holy Side might just be the place.
